Leaside High School

The size of school’s student population allows for a caring environment in which staff get to know their students as individuals.  Each discipline offers a continuum of skill development to prepare students for a future of lifelong learning.

Leaside focuses on foreign languages, having a lot of expanded courses to choose from. Besides that, school offers a continuum of skill development in huge range of courses, including digital photography, forensics and communications technology.

In addition to that, Leaside High was rated “Best Toronto School for Languages” by Toronto Life magazine in 2006, having expanded courses in French, Spanish, Italian, and others.

Leaside High School offers a huge variety of courses and classes to choose from. The effectiveness is showed by their results in Ontario provincial high school rating. Schools always shows very good results, ranking 15th in the province last time.

Admission

Registration is not required for students from feeder elementary schools. They will be transferred to IRHS.

The feeder schools of IRHS are following:

  • Bessborough Public School
  • Bennington Heights Public School
  • Northlea Public School
  • Rolph Road Public School

Students from Leaside High School boundaries are welcome to apply their registration to school.
